PURPOSE: A grounding apparatus for a vehicle is provided to prevent abrasion of a grounding line due to the friction when traveling the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A grounding apparatus for a vehicle includes a stop sensing element detecting the stop of the vehicle with a signal, two relays(K1,K2) switching a power supply of a battery, a motor(26) having two output terminals(26a,26b) for connecting forward and backward driving power supply connected with the rear ends of the relays, a grounding line(GL) winch ascending and descending the grounding line according to the forward and backward driving, and a control unit(24) controlling the operation of the relays by performing algorithm fixed according to the signal of the stop sensing element for selectively supplying one of outputting terminals with battery power supply for a predetermined time, wherein the grounding line does not contact with the ground when traveling and the grounding line contacts with the ground, so that the dark current of the vehicle is induced to the ground.
