PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition for an optical material realizable both reworkability and durability, and can inhibit irregular color and leakage of light in application to an image display device such as a liquid crystal image display panel.

SOLUTION: This invention relates to the adhesive composition for the optical material including an acrylic resin (A) obtained by copolymerization of a copolymelizable component [I] with a main component of a (meth)acrylate monomer (a1), wherein the adhesive composition for the optical material is characterized by including an N-(alkoxyalkyl)(meth)acrylamide monomer (a2) as a copolymerizable component [I].
