<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display system capable of displaying a high-quality image extremely improved in contrast with simple configuration, and a display method. <P>SOLUTION: The display system 2 includes a display object 14 formed with the first image 12, an image display element (a projection display element 26 of a projector 18) which displays the second image 16 including a region having the approximately same gray scale state as that of at least a part of the region of the first image 12 toward the display object 14, and an image region alignment section (a projection region alignment section 28 of the projector 18) for superposing the regions of the first image 12 and the second image 16, having the approximately same gray scale state on each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
