PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular drive device having an automatic transmission capable of stopping a drive source to enable inertial travel in a neutral state, which can reduce deterioration of drivability in passing through a resonance rotational speed band in a low-speed area.SOLUTION: A vehicular drive device includes: an automatic transmission mechanism having an input member, an output member, a plurality of planetary gears and a plurality of engagement elements; a hydraulic control device; and a control device. The control device, when stopping an internal combustion in order to travel in an inertial manner in a state where the internal combustion engine is stopped, engages, among the plurality of engagement elements, engagement elements B1, B2 for stop capable of stopping rotation of the input member, thereby to reduce a rotational speed Ne of the internal combustion engine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
