<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select an intended printer and to perform print processing by selecting a function of each printer on a network without user's consciousness of an individual printer name of the network. <P>SOLUTION: A printer capability inquiry processing part 109 inquires of printers 103-105 disposed on a network 101 about printer capability, produces a printer capability database 110 on the basis of an inquiry result thereof, registers the printer capability selected from the printer capability database 110 by intention of the user in a user print setting function database 111, selects a printing condition from a user print setting function in time of printing, and performs the printing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
