PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide efficient radio packet communication by reducing a reception error rate and a delay time of a radio packet in a destination station. SOLUTION: A relay station 7 relays a radio packet from a transmission station 3 to a destination station 7 without reproduction, demodulates the radio packet and stores demodulated data in a memory in the case where the radio packet is normally demodulated. In the case where a negative acknowledgements (NACK) signal is received from the destination station 5, the relay station 7 reads data from the memory, reproduces the radio packet and transmits it to the destination station 5. Furthermore, in the case where the radio packet from the transmission station 3 can not be rightly demodulated, the relay station 7 stores its radio waveform, combines the waveform and a waveform of a radio packet resent from the transmission station, demodulates a combination result and stores data.
