PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator capable of protecting wire for a long term, ensuring electric insulating performance, and improving elasticity. SOLUTION: This actuator is formed by weaving wire 1 of a shape memory alloy in mesh. On the periphery of the wire 1 of the shape memory alloy, a DLC film 2 having high wear-resistance and high electric insulating performance, and a small frictional coefficient is formed.
