A production process for an electronically commutated motor with an outer rotor comprises forming an inner stator sheet laminate with an insulating layer of thermally stable plastic (52) with fixing parts extending towards the circuit board. The laminate has a winding (86,88) with a wire section (88,90) brought to a plastic fixing part and to a recess in the circuit board to be soldered to it. An independent claim is also included for an electronically commutated motor as above.
