PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a tooth jump of a toothed belt hardly occur at a stroke end.SOLUTION: In an electric power steering device 100, steering assist is performed by the transmission of the rotation torque of a drive toothed pulley 51 which is integrally assembled to a rotating shaft 41 of an electric motor 40 to a driven toothed pulley 52 which rotates integrally with a ball screw nut 31 via a toothed belt 53. Also in the electric power steering device 100, a moving amount of a rack shaft 22 in an axial direction is regulated by the abutment of a rack end 23 on a housing 60 in the axial direction. Furthermore, in the electric power steering device 100, there is arranged inclination permission means A for making the ball screw nut 31 incline to a ball screw shaft 21 so that a distance S between rotation centers of both the pulleys 51, 52 is elongated when the rack end 23 abuts on the housing 60 in the axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
