<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulated wire having excellent flame resistance and heat resistance at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The insulated wire comprises a conductor covered with an insulating layer containing cross-linked rubber made by mixing cross-linked silicone rubber and cross-linked fluororubber. The ratio of the cross-linked silicone rubber to the cross-linked fluororubber is preferably in the range of 9:1 to 1:9 by mass. The insulating layer preferably contains surface-treated magnesium hydroxide made by treating the surface of magnesium hydroxide with a surface treatment composed of an organic polymer, as a flame retarder. The content of the surface-treated magnesium hydroxide in the insulating layer is preferably in the range of 0.1 to 100 pts.mass to the content of the cross-linked rubber of 100 pts.mass. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
