PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document storage system which can reproduce a document having a close outline without placing any burden on a registerer. SOLUTION: A server, when receiving a document from a client (S11), decides whether or not feature data are added together with the document (S12). When feature data are added to the document, a character discrimination part matches the feature data sent from the client with a discrimination dictionary generated previously from the feature data of a use-allowed font held on the server (S13) and selects the font closest to the feature data sent form the client (S14). The server regards the selected font as an alternative font and stores (saves) information on the owner of the selected font, fonts which are not allowed to be used, and the alternative font in a storage device (S15). |
