To provide a contents reproduction device capable of reproducing once-reproduction-interrupted contents while keeping the continuity in relation to the state at the time of interruption, when the reproduction is reopened, in case newly received contents are to be reproduced in the FIFO method while being written over the oldest contents. When a data outputting to a decoder (5) from a ring buffer memory (2A) is temporarily stopped, curved information containing data having been outputted from the ring buffer memory (2A) at the timing when a temporary reproduction stop key was operated is stored. The temporarily stopped outputting of the data to the decoder (5) is reopened, when intended, from the data stored. Moreover, what is stored is only the curved information containing the data which has been outputted from the ring buffer memory (2A) at the timing when the temporary stop of the reproduction was instructed.
