<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the conventional problem wherein it is difficult to detect optical environments around a vehicle with a high degree of accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: This device comprises a turn signal lamp 1, an optical sensor 7 installed to the turn signal lamp 1 and detecting optical environments around the vehicle to output detection signals, a lamp housing 3 and a reflector 5 shielding lights L3 from a stop lamp 13 from incident on the optical sensor 7, and a control unit 8 controlling strength of lights emitted from the turn signal lamp 1 and the stop lamp 13 corresponding to the optical environments around the vehicle using the detection signals from the optical sensor 7 when the turn signal lamp 1 is lit off as an optical volume data 12. As a result, because the optical environments around the vehicle can be detected with high precision, the strength of the lights emitted from the turn signal lamp 1 and the stop lamp 13 can be controlled corresponding to the optical environments around the vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
