PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic timepiece, a communication system, and a program with which it is possible to easily maintain the accurate counting of local time.SOLUTION: An electronic timepiece comprises: counting means for counting local time at a present position; timepiece-side summer time information storage means for storing summer time enforcement information at least at the present position; summer time correction means for correcting local time in accordance with the state of summer time enforcement at the present position, on the basis of the summer time enforcement information; timepiece-side communication means for performing communication with an external apparatus; and setting update means for acquiring update information for the summer time enforcement information from the external apparatus by the timepiece-side communication means, and making the update information reflected to the summer time enforcement information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
