SOLUTION: A broadcast program receiving system is composed of a receiving unit 24 receiving broadcast signals related to broadcast programs, a recording unit 17 recording the broadcast programs of the broadcast signals received through the receiving unit 24 in a recording medium, a receiving quality determination unit 16 determining the receiving quality of the broadcast signals received through the receiving unit 24, and a control unit 11 which stops the recording unit 17 from recording the broadcast program when it is determined by the receiving quality determination unit 16 that the receiving quality of the broadcast signals is bad.
