<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing new liquid or pasty acidic food product containing cheese, which has granular feeling inherent in cheese even if subjected to a treatment such as heat sterilization or strong agitation for improving storability. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing liquid or pasty acidic food product containing cheese includes adding granulated cheese obtained by subjecting granular cheese to pickling treatment with vinegar-containing water solution followed by heating the thus-obtained pickled cheese in the water solution containing vinegar, salt, and gums. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
