DEFIBRILLATOR FOR PERFORMING CARDIOPULMONARY RESUSCITATION FOR MINIMIZING DELAY TO DEFIBRILLATION SHOCK |
摘要 |
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce delay between the end of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and administration of a defibrillating shock. SOLUTION: A method reduces delay between the end of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and administration of a defibrillating shock. An electrocardiogram signal of a patient is monitored during administration of cardiopulmonary resuscitation to the patient. The electrocardiogram signal is analyzed to determine whether a shockable rhythm exists. It is indicated that a shockable rhythm exists and/or that a defibrillating shock will be administered. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation is stopped. The defibrillating shock is administered within 10 seconds of the cessation of cardiopulmonary resuscitation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
