1. A method for digital compensation for total harmonic distortion in a displacement sensor, comprising:
providing a vibration transducer having a moving mass; determining a total harmonic distortion compensation function for a displacement sensor; using the displacement sensor to measure a displacement of the moving mass by generating an output signal having total harmonic distortion; digitizing the distorted output signal to generated output data with distortion; applying the total harmonic distortion compensation function to the distorted output data to generate undistorted output data indicative of the true displacement of the moving mass; and outputting the undistorted output data. |
