PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an operator to estimate a recording finish time and accurately decide whether or not the number of recorded sheets is correct by displaying only the sheet number of recording paper to which recording is performed and which is outputted. SOLUTION: A control circuit turns on or off a display lamp according to input by the operator and/or an instruction from the control circuit of a master control part so as to display a message, etc., on an LCD display device 625. The display device 625 is equipped with a set sheet number display part 6251 for displaying the desired number of copies, a copied sheet number display part 6252 for displaying the number of already copied sheets, a message display part 6253 for displaying a message and a display part for displaying variable power rate, the size of recording paper and abnormality. When the output of the blank recording paper to which recording is not performed is designated, this device performs recording to the specified sheet number of recording paper and outputs it, and also outputs the recording paper of the number corresponding to the designation without performing recording to the recording paper. Then, only the sheet number of recording paper to which recording is performed and which is outputted is displayed. |
