PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate a battery charging operation control device from a car body and improve the work efficiency of an entire work. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an electric motor M operated by a battery B as the drive source of a telescoping boom 11, a battery charger G for charging a battery B, a controller C for controlling the operation of the battery charger G responding to the capacity of the battery B, operation control devices 53, 54, provided on an operation cabin and the rear part of a car body, for indicating the operation state of the controller C and also controlling the operation and PTO switch 51. Thereby, the operation of a power take off mechanism PTO for transmitting or intercepting the drive force of the electric drive motor M to actuators 9, 13, 15 is controlled and also either one of the operation control device 53 in the operation cabin provided in the operation cabin and the operation control device 54 of the rear part of the car body is selected and only the selected operation control device 53, 54 are made effective.
