<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable anyone to easily perform the initial setting of a card-type electric lock arranged in each guest room, without the need of a conventional data input device as a dedicated terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A card issue control unit 10, which issues a card by writing locking/unlocking information, required for locking/unlocking, on the card 31 for a guest, used by the guest, is equipped with an information control part 11 for creating setting information required for the initial setting of the card-type electric lock 20, and a card issue part 12 for issuing the card by writing the setting information, created by the information control part 11, on only the card 31 in the first issue. The electric lock 20, which is arranged in each of the guest rooms of the hotel, determines the legitimacy of the locking/unlocking information stored in the card 31, and opens/shuts the lock only when normally authenticating the locking/unlocking information. The electric lock 20 reads the setting information from the card 31 which is initially issued by the control unit 10, and performs the initial setting of the electric lock 20 on the basis of the read setting information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
