An early warning method and mobile terminal, the method comprising: acquiring a first rotation angle on an xy plane in a vehicle coordinate system between a first time point and a second time point and a first instantaneous angular speed at a time point between the first time point and the second time point; acquiring a second rotation angle on the xy plane in the vehicle coordinate system between a third time point and a fourth time point and a second instantaneous angular speed at a time point between the third time point and the fourth time point; acquiring a first corrected angular speed according to the first instantaneous angular speed and the first rotation angle, and acquiring a second corrected angular speed according to the second instantaneous angular speed and the second rotation angle; acquiring an angular acceleration of an automobile according to the first corrected angular speed and the second corrected angular speed; and if any of the first instantaneous angular speed, the second instantaneous angular speed and the angular acceleration exceeds a threshold, then giving an alarm. The solution of an embodiment of the present invention is easy to implement and highly reliable.
