PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crew member protection device capable of preventing the head of a crew member from contacting components constituting a crew cabin when a vehicle is given an impact from behind.SOLUTION: A crew member protection device 1 is provided. The crew member protection device 1 can protect a crew member C seated in a seat 110 when an impact from behind acts on a vehicle 100, and includes: a belt member 2 having a waist restraint part 21 for restraining the waist of the crew member C; and gas generation means 3 for restraining the thigh part by bringing the waist restraint part 21 into abutment against the thigh part of the crew member C.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
