PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem with a conventional support stand of a torso for display, wherein the center of gravity is unstable and the torso is easily overturned because the support stand cannot be accommodated to the change of the weight of the torso when the torso to be locked is composed of only a trunk part, or when arms or legs are added to the torso. SOLUTION: The support stand has a movable attached part 3 which is attached to a support pole 2 erected in a support part 1 in such a way that the angle can be adjusted. The movable attached part 3 has a locking part 31, which can be locked to the torso T for display, on the upper part. The movable attached part 3 is turnably attached to the support pole 2 by a turning fulcrum 33 provided at one end on the opposite side from the locking part 31, and the angle to the support pole 2 can be adjusted by adjusting the gap to the support pole 2 by an angle adjusting knob 4 set higher than the turning fulcrum 33.
