<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor allowing restoration to a normal state without imparting as long as possible a long uncomfortable waiting time to a user when the information processor is in a hibernation state, and allowing power saving as compared to before. <P>SOLUTION: The information processor automatically transfers to a suspension state when detecting a person by a sensor in the hibernation state. In this case, the information processor returns to a normal operation state from the hibernation state once, and transfers to the suspension state, continuously following the return.
