PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support a saddle-stitched booklet in the vertical state from below at a proper position and stably conveys the booklet.SOLUTION: A sheet processing device comprises: a saddle unit 321 which supports sheets in the mountain shape formed with a fold at a center from below; a sheet support unit 332 which is adjacent to the saddle unit 321 and supports a saddle-stitched booklet extruded from the saddle unit 321 from below; a movable unit 333 which supports the saddle-stitched booklet from below together with the sheet support unit 332 and performs a protrusion action of descending to the position equal to or lower than the support position after protruding by a prescribed amount to the position upper than the support position of the sheet support unit 332; a drive unit 333a which drives the movable unit 333; and a sheet processing control unit which causes the movable unit 333 to perform the protrusion action by causing the drive unit 333a to drive after the saddle-stitched booklet is extruded from the saddle unit 321 to the sheet support unit 332.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
