PURPOSE: A device and a method for exchanging data on a dual-processor embedded system without an error are provided to exchange the data safely without loss by making each processor exchange the data with use of a circular queue. CONSTITUTION: The first CPU(100) is operated by an independent operating program, processes the input data as the embedded system, and outputs it. The first circular queue(110) sequentially inputs/outputs the data output from the first CPU. The second CPU(120) sequentially reads the data from the first circular queue, is operated by the independent operation program, and outputs the data processed as the embedded system. The second circular queue(130) inputs/outputs the data output from the second CPU.
