PURPOSE: An actuator comprising an absorptive filter and a disk drive having the actuator are provided to dispose an absorptive filter to be faced in an air moving direction on a side of a swing arm, thereby improving a foreign substance scavenging efficiency inside a disk drive. CONSTITUTION: A swing arm(132) is rotatively installed inside a disk drive. A suspension(133) is combined with a front section of the swing arm(132), and supports a slider(134) where a head is mounted. An absorptive filter(170) is attached on one side of the swing arm(132) to face in an air moving direction, and absorbs foreign substance within a moving air. The absorptive filter(170) is contacted to the one side of the swing arm(132).
