<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT apparatus preventing overexposure due to a human error by determining whether or not an input photographic condition is proper based on the attribute of a patient measured by the apparatus itself. <P>SOLUTION: This X-ray CT apparatus includes a measurement means, a region specification means, a calculation means, a comparison means, and a notification means. The measurement means measures the attribute of a subject placed on a bed. The region specification means specifies a photographic region of the subject based on the measured attribute of the subject. The calculation means obtains an exposure dose based on the specified photographic region. The comparison means compares the obtained exposure dose and an exposure dose based on the photographic condition which have been input for examination, and makes a determination.
