PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope apparatus capable of acquiring an image having less aberration with a reduced circuit size and in real time.SOLUTION: An endoscope apparatus 1 includes: a CCD 9 having a predetermined number of effective pixels; a display part 5 having a smaller number of effective pixels than the number of effective pixels of the CCD 9; an aberration detection part 17 for detecting an aberration area based on brightness information and edge information from an image signal generated from a signal of an image taken by the CCD 9; and an image segmentation part 18 for segmenting an image corresponding to an effective pixel region of the display part 5 from the effective pixel region of the CCD 9 so that the aberration area becomes smallest based on the aberration detection result acquired by the aberration detection part 17. |
