Provided are a measuring device and a measuring and conveying system provided with same capable of accurately measuring an item to be measured having an indefinite and shredded form such as toppings for instant food, freeze-dried products, and shredded seaweed, said measuring device having: a cylindrical member 3 that receives a raw material 2 from above and discharges the raw material downward; at least one recessed portion 4aa that can be positioned opposing a charging inlet 3b, that receives the raw material, and that is provided in a circumferential surface 4b; a cylindrical measuring member 5 provided with an end face 5a that has a region wider than an opening region 4aaa of the recessed portion and that is formed following the shape of the circumferential surface, and bringing the end face into close contact with the circumferential surface by following the shape thereof and making slidable contact therewith; a biasing means 6 for pressing the end face in the circumferential surface direction to bring the end face into contact therewith; a cover member 8 that has a space portion 7 with the circumferential surface and that covers the circumferential surface; and a driving means 9 that causes a columnar member to either rotate or turn about the central axis of the columnar member. |
