摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical module structured such that the time and labor of alignment are reduced as much as possible and respective optical elements are easily positioned. SOLUTION: This optical module is composed by roughly uniaxially arranging a first optical fiber carrier 1 having apposed optical fibers 1a and 1b, an eccentric ring 3 having a lens 2, an optical filter plate 4, an eccentric ring 5 having a lens 6, and a second optical fiber carrier 7 having an optical fiber 7a. The eccentric ring 3 of a principal part has a cylindrical outer shape, the lens 2 is fixed and held inside by making an optical axis eccentric from the axis of the outer shape, and it is installed adjustably in a rotary direction around the axis of the outer shape along the groove of a support member toward the optical filter plate 4. The optical transmission carrier 1 is installed adjustably in one direction vertical to the optical axis facing the eccentric ring 3. The optical fibers 1a and 1b and the lens 2 are positioned by the adjustment in the rotating direction of the eccentric ring 3 and the adjustment in one direction of the optical transmission carrier 1 in an in-plane direction vertical to the optical axis.
