Methods and devices for file folder path identification and file folder cleaning, the method for file folder path identification comprising: determining a file folder set to be processed (S101); obtaining a corresponding character string of a path of each file folder included in the file folder set to be processed (S102); with regard to the obtained corresponding character string of the path of each file folder, detecting whether a regular expression template matched with the character string is present in a preset regular expression template library (S103); if present, determining a detected regular expression template to be a regular expression template of the file folder path corresponding to the character string (S104); according to the determined regular expression template, identifying a regular expression of the file folder path corresponding to the character string (S105). The methods and devices implement the automatic identification of paths of file folders and the cleaning of file folders in electronic devices, increasing the efficiency of identifying paths of file folders in electronic devices and the efficiency of file folder cleaning. |
