1. A compound of Formula I: wherein in Formula Ieach independently represents a tridentate ligand coordinating to Ir through coordinating atoms X1 to X6;
wherein X1 to X6 are each independently selected from the group consisting of nitrogen, and carbon; wherein A, B, C, and D are each a cyclometalated ring; and wherein one of the four cyclometalated rings A, B, C, and D is a 6-member ring, and the other three of the four cyclometalated rings A, B, C, and D are 5-member rings.
