This damper (D1) is provided with: a first partition wall (3) that divides the inside of a tank (10) into an expansion-side communicating chamber (L10) and a pressure-side communicating chamber (L20); a first channel (R1) that connects the expansion-side communicating chamber (L10) and the pressure-side communicating chamber (L20); a free piston (4) that divides a pressure chamber (L4) formed inside the tank (10) into an expansion-side pressure chamber (L40) and a pressure-side pressure chamber (L41); a spring element (5) that generates a biasing force that suppresses displacement of the free piston (4); an expansion-side channel (R3) that connects the expansion-side communicating chamber (L10) and the expansion-side pressure chamber (L40); and a pressure-side channel (R4) that connects the pressure-side communicating chamber (L20) and the pressure-side pressure chamber (L41). |
