PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous ink having excellent adhesiveness to a polyolefin recording medium and scratch resistance and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: There are provided: [1] an aqueous ink which comprises a coloring agent and polyester resin particles, wherein the polyester resin particles contain a polyester and a polyolefin and the mass ratio (polyester/polyolefin) between the polyester and the polyolefin in the polyester resin particles is 65/35 or more and 99/1 or less; [2] a method for producing the aqueous ink which comprises the following steps (1) to (3); and [3] an inkjet recording method of adhering the aqueous ink to a polyolefin recording medium by an inkjet recording method, followed by heating the polyolefin recording medium to which the aqueous ink is adhered at 40°C or more and 100°C or less. Step (1): a step of obtaining a mixture of a polyester and a polyolefin at a mass ratio (polyester/ polyolefin) of 65/35 or more and 99/1 or less, an organic solvent and basic compound. Step (2): a step of mixing and emulsifying the mixture obtained in the step (1) with an aqueous medium to obtain an aqueous dispersion of polyester resin particles. Step (3): a step of mixing the aqueous dispersion of polyester resin particles obtained in the step (2) and an aqueous dispersion containing a coloring agent to obtain an aqueous ink.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
