PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating which can give the feeling of hot spring only by the application on the skin, followed by showering, and to provide a method for producing the coating. SOLUTION: This method for producing the coating giving the feeling of hot spring is characterized by heating or cooling hot spring water to have a suitable temperature, adding a desired amount of a fluidity-lowering agent to the resultant hot spring water controlled to a suitable temperature, stirring the hot spring water to uniformly disperse the fluidity-lowering agent, heating the hot spring water to a suitable temperature to dissolve the fluidity-lowering agent in the hot water spring water, followed by cooling the hot spring water to obtain a fluidity-lowered hot spring coating.
