A device for reading out binary information comprises a recording element arranged as writing head connected to output of code former, two reading elements arranged as reading heads which outputs are connected to corresponding inputs of recording unit. First reading head is made as double-gap one, second reading head are single-gap one and displaced by axis relative to the first head along the magnetic carrier by value equal to half-thick of writing head pole. Concentrators of first double-gap reading head are provided with additional windings series-matched connected to main winding.
