<p>Ignition plug (10) comprises a cylindrical insulator (12) fixed in a metal sleeve (11), a central electrode (20) with a front end protruding from a front end of the insulator and fixed with its rear end on the insulator, and an earth electrode (30) fixed at one end to the metal sleeve to form a discharge gap between the earth electrode and the central electrode. The earth electrode comprises a precious metal alloy region containing 50 wt.% Rh or Pt, less than 50 wt.% Rh or Pt, and optionally a third component containing less than 7 wt.% Ni and less than 2 wt.% R.</p> |
