The device (1) comprises two parallel positioned linear moving units (5a, 5b) with several clamping elements for holding the brush bases (3) guided to the different processing stations. The first section (5a) comprises the base insertion station (6) and two bristle inserting and fixing stations (7, 8) as well as a return station (9) moving the brushes (2) to the second section (5b) with two bristle cutting (10, 11) and two rounding and polishing stations (12, 13). The completed brush (2) can be removed from the release station (14) and the units are moved back to the start.
