PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a vehicle capable of both suppressing catalyst inactivation and enhancing acceleration performance. SOLUTION: Catalyst warm-up control is carried out with a first exhaust valve Ex1 closed and a second exhaust valve Ex2 opened (Step 102). When an acceleration request is made after the completion of the catalyst warm-up, exhaust gas temperature Tex is acquired (Step 110). When the exhaust gas temperature Tex is a predetermined value Tth or lower, the second exhaust valve Ex2 is opened in an intermediate lift amount (A) (Step 114) so that an abrupt drop in exhaust gas temperature is suppressed. When the exhaust gas temperature Tex is higher than the predetermined value Tth, the second exhaust valve Ex2 is totally closed (Step 116) so that the whole amount of exhaust gas is introduced to a turbine.
