METHOD, DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR PERFORMING BIDIRECTIONAL FORWARDING DETECTION ON AGGREGATED LINK

The present application provides a method for performing bidirectional forwarding detection on an aggregated link between a first network device and a second network device. The first network device sends to the second network device information used for establishing at least two BFD sessions and stores the information; the first network device receives information that is sent by the second network and used for establishing the at least two BFD sessions; the first network device establishes BFD sessions between at least two pairs of ports according to the stored information and the information sent by the second network device; the first network device determines whether at least one BFD session of the established BFD sessions is normal; and if at least one BFD session of the established BFD sessions is normal, the first network device determines that the aggregated link between the first network device and the second network device is available. Compared with the prior art, the problem that an error occurs in fault detection performed on an aggregated link by using BFD can be alleviated.
