MONOFILAMENT FOR TWIST-BUNDLING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a totally thermoplastic resin type monofilament for twist-bundling which has shaping properties and twist-bundling properties being equal to a twist-bundling material having a metal core. SOLUTION: The shape of a vertical cross section to the length direction of this monofilament comprises a flat section 2 which is thin and long in the horizontal direction, and a protuberance section 3 which protrudes at least once at least in one direction of upper and lower vertical directions from the flat section 2. The height h in the vertical direction of the protuberance section 3 and the width w in the horizontal direction of the protuberance section have a relationship of h>w for this monofilament for twist-bundling.
