According to the present invention, the influence, on image display, of an operation for detecting an object on a screen is suppressed in a display device having a sensor. A display device (1) having a sensor according to the present invention is provided, in a region overlapping the screen, with a plurality of drive lines (DRL) aligned in a first direction, a plurality of sensing lines (SNL) aligned in a second direction, and a detection control unit (30) for outputting a drive signal that includes a plurality of pulses to each of the plurality of drive lines and detecting a signal on a sensing line in correspondence to the drive signal. The detection control unit (30) outputs the drive signal that includes the plurality of pulses simultaneously to a group of 2N drive lines (where N is a natural number) aligned contiguously in the first direction. The pulses of the drive signals on N drive lines among the group of 2N drive lines rise at the same time the pulses of the drive signals on the other N drive lines fall. |
