PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prize acquiring game apparatus capable of commonly using a conventional prize acquiring game mechanism, raising interest in a game by lowering a difficulty level, and allowing a player to acquire an appropriate amount of prizes to be required by the player. SOLUTION: The prize acquiring game apparatus includes: tilted prize mounting bases for mounting the prizes; prize acquiring means equipped with a mechanism to be extended/contracted to acquire the prize from the prize mounting base; a turning member which prevents the prize mounted on the prize mounting base from slipping and is turned by the abutment of the prize acquiring means; moving means for moving the prize acquiring means; and operating means for operating the moving means and the prize acquiring means. The abutment of the prize acquiring means on the turning member allows the turning member to turn. The turning of the turning member allows the prize to fall from the prize mounting base.
