A composition having an effect of moxibustion, and a press pellet by using the same composition are provided to obtain both of acupuncture and moxibustion effects conveniently and inexpensively without fear and rejection feeling. The composition having the moxibustion effect comprises 20-40 wt.% of concentrated mugwort solution, 0-20 wt.% of supplement fresh herb drugs, 0-20 wt.% of resin and 30-60 wt.% of far infrared ray-emitting powder, wherein the concentrated mugwort solution is prepared by pulverizing mugwort, mixing the pulverized mugwort with rice vinegar, heating the mixture in water, and concentrating it; the far infrared ray-emitting powder is bioceramics, tourmaline, elvan, illite, biotite, germanium or monazite; the supplement fresh herb drug is Angelica dahurica BENTH., Clematis mandshurica Maximowicz. or Cnidium officinale; and the resin is frankincense, pine resin, myrrh, refined Borneo camphor, camphor, menthol or red pepper tincture. The press pellet comprises a protrusion portion(10) coated with the composition having the effect of moxibustion, and an adhesive portion(20) under protrusion portion.
