<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous electrolyte battery superior in rapid charging performance. <P>SOLUTION: The non-aqueous electrolyte battery is equipped with a positive electrode 2 including a positive electrode current collector and a positive electrode active material-contained layer carried on the positive electrode current collector, a negative electrode 3 including a negative electrode current collector consisting of aluminum foil with the average crystal particle size of 0.01-50 μm or aluminum alloy foil with the average crystal particle size of 0.01-50 μm and a negative electrode active material-contained layer carried on the negative electrode current collector and containing lithium-titanium oxide particles with the average particle size of 1 μm or less, and a non-aqueous electrolyte containing an organic solvent.
