Disclosed is a mechanism (150), which can be mounted on a flap (100), for selectively locking or unlocking the flap (100) relative to a body (1502) of a storage case (1500). The mechanism (150) has two locking members (152, 154), each of which has an engagement section (156, 158) in order to engage with a respective cooperating counter engagement section of the body (1502), and an active section (168, 170) comprising an oblique sliding surface (160, 162) for absorbing an actuation force, a pre-tensioning device (172), which is arranged between the locking members (152, 154) and is provided to generate a pre-tensioning force that acts along a pre-tensioning axis (180) so as to press the engagement sections (156, 158) against the counter engagement sections in order to lock the flap (100) relative to the body (1502), and an actuation element (174) which can be actuated by a user and which has two transmission sections (176, 178), each of which has an oblique sliding surface (190, 192) for transmitting the actuation force onto one of the respective contact surfaces (168, 170). |
