INTERCONNECT STRUCTURE ON SUBSTRATE OF TOUCH PANEL

PURPOSE: An interconnect structure on a substrate of a touch panel is provided to obviate problems caused by increase of non-active areas, enlarge available active areas of a substrate, and make a touch panel compacted by varying an interconnected design of lines on the touch panel. CONSTITUTION: Four sheet resistances are arranged in X-axis and Y-axis on a transparent conductive layer which is formed on a substrate. A lower plate(202) has the sheet resistances formed thereon. A location signal applying line(203) and a location signal sensing line(206) are arranged on an upper plate(201) to sense a location signal through the sheet resistances distributed on the lower plate(202). The upper plate(201) has a transparent conductive layer corresponding to the lower plate(202). A connection terminal(205) interconnects the signal applying line and the sheet resistances of the lower plate(202) by being installed according to the signal applying line(203) and the signal sensing line(206) of the upper plate(201). The connection terminal(205) is provided on the upper plate(201).
