PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge control method for outputting an image not affected by the variation of a discharge amount without relying on image processing regardless of the type of an original image.SOLUTION: According to this liquid discharge control method, control information indicating which of a plurality of driving forms varied in the amount of a liquid discharged from one nozzle are set in correspondence to each other is obtained, and a driving signal is generated for each pixel according to the control information and image data inputted for each pixel. In this case, a form which enables a discharge amount closer to a target discharge amount among the plurality of driving forms to be obtained is set on the basis of the control signal. Then, a difference between the target discharge amount and a discharge amount realized by the set driving form is calculated, and the target discharge amounts of other pixels in which driving forms are yet to be set are corrected by using the difference.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
